The Problem We’re Solving

Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) is Zimbabwe’s most widely used and cleanest fuel — a critical bridging energy source in the shift from solid fuels like wood and coal. It powers the daily lives of millions, providing safer cooking and heating options for households across the country. Yet despite its importance, most households still rely on guesswork to manage their LPG use. If something can’t be measured, it can’t be optimised — and that’s where we see an opportunity. At Rukova Climate Lab, we believe we can transform the way families monitor and manage energy, using smart tools to improve reliability, reduce waste, and accelerate a just, cleaner energy transition.
