Planted to Disrupt
This lab began as a question I couldn’t shake — what if climate action started from the ground up, rooted in the realities of those most affected? My work is an ongoing experiment in designing bold, regenerative systems that bridge finance and local innovation.
Tariro Bure is a climate finance expert with global experience driving systems change in emerging economies.
She previously served as Strategic and Nature Finance Manager with the UN Climate Champions, shaping finance agendas for COP26–29 and regional climate weeks.
She worked with the global Finance Sector Deforestation Action initiative, co-founded the African Youth Networks Movement with Graça Machel, and supported youth leadership and entrepreneurship at the African Leadership University.
With a background in global economics and policy, her work continues to push boundaries—fusing climate finance, systems thinking, and community-rooted innovation to reimagine what’s possible.
